Group lessons for children from 4 to 16 years old

Whatever your level, group ski lessons allow you to progress while sharing unforgettable moments within a group.

Group Ski Lessons

The Swiss Ski School of Chandolin welcomes your children from 4 to 16 years old in group ski lessons and snow garden during the whole season. Learning and progress are subject to the criteria of the Swiss Snow League.
The atmosphere will be guaranteed and it is the opportunity for your children to create friendships and contacts during their ski stays.

Your children will join the class of their last acquired level.

Snow Garden

Our instructors will be happy to welcome your children, from the age of 4, in a friendly and secure area equipped with a small lift and a cabin. Throughout the week, they will discover the first joys of sliding and get used to the first changes of direction.

Courses only for beginners or not autonomous children.

Group lesson 2h30 High season

Group classes are made up of a minimum of 4 children.

1 lesson:    70.–
2 lessons: 140.–
3 lessons: 210.–
4 or 5 lessons: 259.–

Group lesson 2h30 Low season

If the school is able to do so, it is possible to have a group lesson from Monday to Friday with less than 4 children but at the following rates:

If 3 people are registered
5 lessons: 290.–
If 2 people enrolled
5 lessons: 320.–
If 1 person registered

The courses take place
From Monday to Friday
from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm

A beginner can only start on Monday and not during the week.

Meeting point at 10:30 am at the meeting place of the Swiss ski school of Chandolin which is at the departure of the Tza ski lift below the restaurant Le Tsapé which is at the top of the chairlift of Tsapé, Chandolin.

Parents pick up their children at the meeting place where they will be brought back by the instructors at the end of the group lessons. Parents pick up their children at the snow garden.

A group slalom course is organized every Thursday and if the weather permits.

The medal and certificate are included in the price of the group classes.

ATTENTION: The ski school is under no obligation to provide group lessons if there are not enough students per class.

Advice to Parents

For a successful experience with the Swiss Ski School of Chandolin, we would like to give you the following advice:

Dress your child warmly: mittens and dry shoes. A little tip: remove the booties from the shell and insert newspaper or better yet, place them by the fire.

Equip your children with good sunglasses or ski goggles and sun protection, which will protect them from the cold as well as the sun.

The helmet is recommended from the first curves.

The equipment (skis, bindings, boots) must be properly adjusted.

Be on time to pick up and drop off your child and remember the name of your child's instructor.

We advise total beginners (adults and children) to take private lessons rather than group lessons. In group lessons, the differences in level between the students are often felt as early as the second day.

The school does not make any refunds for absence or bad weather. Group and private lessons always take place in all weather conditions, except when the ski lifts are closed. Only cancellations made 12 hours in advance or upon presentation of a medical certificate will be reimbursed.
