Beginner or experienced, on skis or snowboard, your child will be given confidence so that his progress is made while having fun with friends.
Ski
Group lessons offer you a stimulating and fun group atmosphere to progress on skis with your instructor.
Our daily schedules are adapted in order to help our students progress more quickly while taking full advantage of the diversity of the terrain offered by the Portes du Soleil area.

Snowboard
From beginner to confirmed rider, your child will evolve within a group of the same level, our ESS Morgins instructors will supervise them in their progress, combining technique and pleasure.

5 days a week: 4 half days and 1 full day
9.30 am to 12 pm: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
9.30 am to 3.30 pm: Thursday
Snowboard
4 days a week: 3 half days and 1 full day

Group lessons are organized during the school holiday periods from 21.12.2024 to 05.01.2025 and from 15.02.2025 to 09.03.2025
For the Christmas/New Year holidays, group lessons on 25 December and 1 January will exceptionally take place in the afternoon

For the Blue levels, the meeting is at the Geant Ski area by the Sports Centre. For the Red and Black League levels, the meeting point is at the bottom of the Foilleuse gondola
For Snowboard group lessons, the meeting is at the bottom of the Foilleuse Gondola
Please be at the meeting place 10 minutes before the start of the lesson
Before booking, please consult our general conditions
- Prepare your child for ESS lessons so that they can enjoy themselves
- Equip her/him with suitable and adjusted equipment: skis or snowboards, bindings and boots.
- For skiers, ski poles are required from Queen / Blue King level
- Dress him warmly: gloves, helmet, good glasses or goggles, dry boots, suncream and lip balm
- Please take your lessons ticket or your internet confirmation to the meeting place
- Be on time for the start and end of each lesson
- Know the name of your child's instructor and always check where the lesson begins and ends each day
- Please do not interfere in the lessons. It is best to watch from afar, our instructor will only call you if needed
- Remember that your child is on holiday and will learn to ski while having fun. He cannot become a champion in a week!
- Inform the instructor of any possible health issues and allergies of your child

Our meeting places on the village map
In the Snow Garden, groups are limited to 5 children per instructor. For group lessons, the maximum is set at 8 in order to guarantee a high level of quality of teaching. During high season, classes can reach a maximum of 10 children.
If your child has followed the Swiss Snow League and has received the grade "ready for the next level" please register for the next level. If in doubt, communicate this to our instructors. We will carry out a test at the beginning of the week in order to homogenize the levels as much as possible. If your child has not yet followed the Swiss Snow League, you can see the different levels here.
The lesson is then similar to a private lesson and ESS reserves the right to reduce the duration of the lesson per day or offer you an alternative of a semi-private lessons.
The lift pass is not included in the price of the lesson and each participant must have a valid ticket.
The lift pass for the Snow garden is included in the price of the lesson. A special ski pass is available for the Snowli and Le Géant ski lifts for the P'tits Cracks.
The basic equipment required includes skis, boots and poles. Helmet, appropriate goggles and warm gloves/mittens are mandatory for all children's lessons. Dress your children according to the weather of the day and please don't forget the sun cream and lip balm!
In the Snow Garden and in Blue Prince/cess, children ski without poles. From the Blue King level upwards poles are required for the lessons. If in doubt, check with the Instructor according to his program.
The material is not included in the lesson price. Our partner store JJ Sport Morgins and their staff will be happy to advise you. They can offer you a discount rate on the daily/weekly rental on the presentation of a lesson ticket from the Ski and Snowboard School.
