It is located at the top of the gondola lift on the "la Cuvette" piste in the beginners' area.

In private lessons, the instructor focuses on you. You will receive very precise advice on your needs in a short time. The lessons can therefore be intense. In group lessons, attention is given to the whole class. You benefit from the group spirit.

During the high season, every Wednesday evening (on the village piste, meet for registration at the chalet at the start of the ski lift) or on Thursday 10:15 on the piste "les Luys" there is a guest competition open to all. 
All children and adults from Red Prince level upwards can participate. The medal ceremony takes place on Thursday evening in the village square from 5:00 pm at the same time as the medal ceremony for the children's group lessons.

Free registration for ESS customers and CHF. 10.- for guests.

From 10 hours of group lessons or 6 hours of private lessons, a medal is awarded to each participant. The level of the medal received is evaluated over the whole week. There is no test at the end of the week. The instructors and the head of the place are at your disposal at any time to talk about it.

If your child followed the Swiss Snow League and has been marked "ready for the next level" please register him/her for the next level. If in doubt, please let our instructors or our head of class know. In all cases, we carry out a test at the beginning of the week to ensure that the levels are as homogenous as possible. The course is similar to a private course and ESS reserves the right to reduce the course time per day or offer you an alternative semi-private course.

In the snowgarden, classes are limited to 5 children. For group lessons, the maximum is set at 8 in Blue Prince and around 10 for the other levels. These numbers are recommendations of our umbrella association, Swiss Snowsports. During the high season, classes can reach up to 12 children in the higher levels. Our instructors are trained to manage 8 to 12 people in group lessons. 

Unfortunately not. On the other hand, a picnic room and the restaurant "le Pas-de-Maimbré" are located right next to our meeting point. 

In group classes, a break is planned. We offer water, but you can give your child a snack without any other means. A drinks and snacks machine is also available in the pic nic room.

We give priority to levels. If your children have the same level, tell the instructor and we will put them together. If the level differs, we advise you to separate them. Otherwise, the best one will adapt to the level of the weakest one.

At the time indicated on your booking. Your instructor may have another lesson before and will arrive on time.

An instructor may have another lesson before and be late. The instructor will extend his lesson by the length of his delay.

For private lessons, you have the possibility to choose your own instructor (depending on availability). You can indicate your wishes in the remarks in case of online bookings. However, it is not possible to guarantee a certain instructor for group lessons.

For private lessons, we offer courses in French, German and English. Depending on availability, we also offer instructors who speak Dutch, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Swiss-German and the local patois :-). For group lessons, there are often several languages in a class and the instructor communicates with each one of them by word or gesture. The language barrier is not a problem and the children have fun.

The sooner the better! In high season, group courses fill up very quickly and we cannot guarantee availability for everyone in the morning. For private lessons, it is often necessary to make a reservation already in autumn to get the desired instructor.

The courses take place in all weathers. No course is refunded in case of closure of the domain, illness, accident or other but an alternative will be proposed. The ski pass is not included in the lessons. Each participant must have a valid transport ticket. Children under the age of 6 years are free of charge.

Two possibilities are open to you! Round trip for beginners. This package is ideal for beginners. Access to the "la cuvette" piste and the "combe de Turin".  

For all other levels (except beginners), the all-inclusive package for the entire domain is required.

The material is not included in the price. We have 3 partner sports shops in the resort who will be happy to advise you.

- Jacky Sports is located on the village square at the start of the ski lift.

Basic equipment includes skis, boots and poles. Helmet, appropriate goggles and gloves are compulsory for all children's lessons. Dress your children according to the weather of the day. Don't forget sunscreen.

In the Snowgarden and the Blue Prince, children ski without poles. From the Blue King level onwards, in principle, lessons are given with poles. In case of doubt, ask the instructor according to his weekly programme.
