Whether in skiing, snowboarding, telemark or ski touring, our instructors adapt to your goals: learning the basics, improving technique, carving, off-piste skiing, freestyle in the snowpark, or simply discovering the ski area of Thyon.
On your own, with family or friends, private lessons are the ideal way to progress quickly while fully enjoying the mountains at your own pace.

Private lessons take place every day from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Ski Pass & Equipment
Ski Passes
- Ski passes are not included in the lesson price.
- A ski pass is required as soon as you are able to access the ski slopes.
For beginners, a specific beginner pass is available. - Access to the Snow Garden is free for children and does not require a ski pass.
- The SkiPass is free for children up to 6 years old (CHF 5.- for the magnetic card).
Which Ski Pass Should You Choose?
- The Printse pass is sufficient for skiing in the areas of Thyon, Veysonnaz and Nendaz.
- To also access Verbier and the rest of the ski area, you will need a 4 Vallées pass or the corresponding extension.

Ski passes must be collected before the start of the lessons at the ski lift ticket offices.
Equipment
- Helmet and ski goggles are mandatory for children and strongly recommended for adults

Ski Touring Information
Activity Information
- Beginner-friendly introduction to ski touring.
- Duration: 2 hours
- No previous experience is required, but a good level of fitness is recommended.
- No ski pass is required for this activity, unless you choose to return by cable car.
The Activity Includes
- How to attach climbing skins to the skis
- Basic ski touring techniques and safety rules
- A guided ascent
Longer tours are available on request. We can also arrange a mountain guide if you wish.

ESS Course Protect Insurance
Lessons can be rescheduled or refunded in the following cases:
- Illness or accident (upon presentation of a medical certificate)
- Full closure of the Thyon ski area

The main meeting point for the private lessons is in Thyon 2000, at the sign "Private Lessons" at the corner of the terrace of the restaurant "Le panorama".
For the little ones, the meeting point is in the snow garden (Swiss Snow Kids Village). It is also possible to ask for another meeting point in the resort (at the Joc or Matze ski lifts for example). Please check the meeting point on your booking confirmation and send us your requests for changes by e-mail or telephone.

The ski lessons are divided into 3 Leagues: Blue League (Beginner), Red League (Advanced), Black League (Expert). The Blue and Red Leagues are divided into 3 levels: Prince/Princess, King/Queen, Star. The Black League has one level: Black Prince. After this level, your children can register in the Swiss Snow Academy.
The snowboard lessons are divided into 2 Leagues: Blue League (Beginner), Red League (Advanced). The Blue and Red League are divided into 3 levels: Prince/Princess, King/Queen, Star. Once you have passed all these levels, you can register for the Swiss Snow Academy.
The levels for the private lessons are only indicative. The instructor will assess the level of the student at the beginning of the lesson.

Yes, it is possible to request a specific ski instructor (depending on availability) for private lessons only. To do this, you must notify our office by email, telephone or in person so that the information is recorded.
Our ski instructors regularly have several lessons in a row. It is therefore possible that the ski instructor is late for the lesson. For each private lesson, we guarantee the time indicated, minus 10 minutes, which corresponds to the ski instructor's travel time between two lessons.
If the instructor has not arrived between 5 and 10 minutes after the start of the lesson, please call our office and we will contact the instructor.
